Palouse River Cleanup & Native Plant Walk Maintenance
Day - 8/27/11
Palouse Conservation District and the City of Palouse will conduct a stream
cleanup and do site maintenance at the Palouse Native Plant Walk with the help
of volunteers on Saturday, August 27, 2011.
This project is part of American Rivers’ National River
Cleanup™. Join thousands of volunteers across the country in protecting up
our most precious natural resource.
All are welcome. Volunteers should meet at 9:00 am at Hayton Green Park.
A celebration BBQ and sign unveiling for the Palouse Native Plant Walk will be
held at 1:00 pm.
Email or call
Jennifer Boie, 332-4101, for more information.

More volunteer opportunities will be available throughout the
summer. We have dozens of restoration sites that need watering, weeding
and general maintenance work.
Please contact
Jennifer Boie or John Celley at 509-332-4101 if you would like
more information about volunteering with PCD.
WSU students can sign up for volunteer events through the
