What is your history with the Adopt-A-Stream Program? How many years have you participated? Number of volunteers involved over the years?

"The Omicron Delta chapter of Sigma Lambda Beta International Fraternity, Inc. first began the Adopt A Stream Program 7 years ago and so far, have had over 50 brothers participate in cleaning our section of stream as well as participating in the annual community stream clean-up. "

Why did your group decide to join the Adopt-A- Stream Program?

"Our founders wanted to uphold our fraternity’s founding principle of community service and saw signing up for the Adopt A Stream Program as a welcoming invitation to help our local environment while also embodying the fraternity’s values."

What do you find to be most rewarding as an Adopt-A-Stream Steward?

"It was a unique way to give back since the stream is located near a pathway that is commonly used by the community for outdoor events such as the running, leisurely sports, or to visit the community garden. "

Any memorable stories to share from past cleaning events?
