ENVIROTHON

What is the Envirothon?

The Envirothon is a hands-on environmental competition for 9th-12th grade students in the United States and Canada. This after school activity takes classroom learning to a new and interactive level and complements AP Environmental Science courses.

Each team must study and master:

Soils and Land Use

Aquatic Ecology

Forestry

 Wildlife

A rotating current environmental issue

Competitions between school and regions have a written component,

an oral presentation, and skill set demonstrations.

Winners advance to state competitions.
