ENVIROTHON
What is the Envirothon?
The Envirothon is a hands-on environmental competition for 9th-12th grade students in the United States and Canada. This after school activity takes classroom learning to a new and interactive level and complements AP Environmental Science courses.
Each team must study and master:
Soils and Land Use
Aquatic Ecology
Forestry
Wildlife
A rotating current environmental issue
Competitions between school and regions have a written component,
an oral presentation, and skill set demonstrations.
Winners advance to state competitions.
