Join birders from Palouse Audubon Society and Palouse Conservation District for a fun morning biking and birding along the Chipman Trail!
Please note that registration is recommended for this event.
The Palouse Audubon Society and Palouse Conservation District will be hosting the Fourth Annual Paradise Creek Bike and Bird event along the Bill Chipman Trail on May 7th from 7 am to 9 am. Anyone interested in cycling and birding with an enthusiastic group of birders should meet at the Bill Chipman Trailhead on SE Bleasner Dr in Pullman east of Birch and Barley at 7 am.
The event will consist of a casual bike ride along the trail, stopping periodically to look at birds of interest and assessing avian use of the many habitat restoration projects along Paradise Creek. A group of birders will also be walking for those interested in birding along the trail but not cycling.
Be sure to bring your bike, binoculars, and favorite field guide, and dress appropriately for the weather. Birders of all skill levels are encouraged to join.
If you would like further information, please call Anthony Hatcher from the Palouse Conservation District at (509) 553-1854.
