This event has been postponed due to weather. We plan to reschedule it for the summer. Thank you for your understanding!
Join Palouse Conservation District and the WSU Entomology Graduate Student Association for an insect ID event at Koppel Farm on Saturday, April 16th from 1-3 pm! Local experts will guide you on best handling and identification practices as they cover the most common native insects that can be found in springtime on the Palouse.
Please fill out the event registration form so that we can send you event updates as needed.
Please bring your own water, and be sure to dress for the weather. PCD and WSU EGSA will provide identification materials and insect nets.
We will be logging observations onto the iNaturalist app. We recommend that you download the app to your phone and create an account ahead of the event if you wish to participate in iNaturalist activities. You can learn more about iNaturalist here.
This event is being held ahead of the City Nature Challenge, which is a global, crowd-sourced biodiversity event that will be taking place on April 29th-May 2nd. Learn more about the City Nature Challenge here!
