Join Palouse Conservation District and University of Idaho Extension for a Soil Health Tour on Wednesday, June 25th from 8 am - 1 pm. Local producers will share insights from cover crop and winter barley trials on their operations. The tour will begin just south of Uniontown, WA and conclude near Moscow, ID. Participants will travel to a total of three sites across 26 miles.
Registration is required. Registration closes on Friday, June 20th at 5:00 pm.
Participants will view and learn about:
Cover crops, including livestock integration, mixes, and termination dates
Winter barley trials
Winter pea agronomy plots
Biostimulants
And more!
Lunch and refreshments are provided. Participants must provide their own transportation between sites. Carpooling is encouraged. Tour location details will be made available to registered participants. This event is free and open to the public. Please dress for the weather.
