Feel like taking a neighborhood walk and making a positive impact on the environment while you’re at it? Help us restock Pullman's pet waste stations with compostable bags! Check out our "Refill for Rover" volunteer opportunities today.
When pet waste isn’t picked up, it enters Pullman’s waterways through stormwater runoff, resulting in high levels of fecal coliform bacteria that harm water quality. Pet waste bag stations are located all over town, but they require volunteer help to keep bags stocked and available for use.
In partnership with the City of Pullman, our weekly Refill for Rover events equip volunteers with bags and maps of pet waste stations located in different neighborhoods. We also provide detailed driving and walking routes that volunteers can choose from to make the volunteering experience easy and efficient - no scooping required!
