We recently published a brand-new Whitman County Conservation Guide!
If you want to take care of the land you own or manage in Whitman County but aren’t sure where to begin, this catalog can help. Our county includes farms, forests, streambanks, and town properties, and each landscape comes with its own conservation opportunities.
This catalog features simple, practical conservation actions that support healthy soil, clean water, and resilient landscapes. Each entry includes a photo and a brief description of the practice and how it can benefit your property.
This guide was adapted from the Washington State Conservation Commission's Conservation Catalog to focus on Whitman County practices and resources.
