Join Palouse Conservation District to improve water quality and create habitat along local streams by planting native trees and shrubs and removing invasive plants at various sites near Pullman.
Saturday, March 21, 2026 from 10 am - 12 pm along Dry Fork Creek in Pullman.
Saturday, April 4, 2026 from 10 am - 12 pm along a tributary to the South Fork of the Palouse River, about six miles outside of Pullman.
Be prepared:
We’ll be out there in rain, snow, or shine
Volunteers will be walking on uneven terrain in tall grass
Your shoes and clothes will get dirty!
You will need:
Long pants (required for safety)
Closed-toe shoes (required for safety) *Crocs and sandals don’t count!
Weather-appropriate clothing *Bring extra layers to add or take off - weather can change quickly!
Water bottle and snacks
We will provide:
Tools
Gloves (S, M, L, XL)
Water
Electrolyte powder
A small selection of snacks
